Dug this out while organising my old files. 

Variety show-themed back drop for a dinner and dance! I think it’s actually something interesting. As compared to the typical ‘Hollywood Night’ or ‘Shanghai Night’. 

This theme has a Singapore variety show and carabet touch to it which I feel is an interesting mix suitable for the target group of NTUC’s staff.

1) ‘Huat ah’ is an auspicious phrase that people usually say to signify ‘good luck’ and to be properous. The entire design team thus came out with ‘Huat-ah night’ as one of the theme title. A little twist to the phrase ‘What a night!’

2) The second theme title took on a variety show theme which was a safer and friendlier approach suitable for everyone of different racial backgrounds.
